Where’s the Dance Studio?

Fort Smith School

of Irish Dance

is located in the

Chaffee Crossing development, formerly a part of Fort Chaffee.  The building itself is a former officers’ club.  Now it is the spacious home of some of the finest dancers in this part of the country.

Directions from Fort Smith:

Traveling EAST on Zero Street (State Hwy. 255) you will leave Fort Smith and enter Barling.

Upon entering Barling, you will turn RIGHT on Veterans Boulevard.  (You will see ESPN Radio to the left.)

At the first intersection you will turn LEFT onto Fort Smith Boulevard. Follow this road until you reach the road construction barriers.  Follow the curve around and continue to the first  4-way intersection.   Proceed about 1 block, then turn RIGHT onto Ward Avenue.

The dance studio will be the 3rd building on the right at the intersection of Ward and Redwood.

Traveling EAST on Rogers Avenue (State Hwy. 22) you will leave Fort Smith into Barling.

Continue through Barling.

As you leave Barling, you will see a large green sign that says “Fort Chaffee entrance 2000ft.”. Turn RIGHT immediately after passing this sign.

Turn RIGHT again at the first intersection.  (This intersection is not marked but you will be on Fort Chaffee Boulevard.)

Remain on Ft. Chaffee Blvd. until you reach the intersection with Ward Avenue.

Turn RIGHT.  The dance studio will be the 3rd building on the right at the intersection of Ward & Redwood.
